40 buses fail inspection in Pettah

Colombo, Sep 3 (Daily Mirror) - Around 40 inter-provincial private and Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) buses were found to have failed to meet the required standards during a special inspection in Pettah today (03). The inspection was carried out at the Bastion Mawatha bus stop by the National Transport Commission (NTC), with support from officers of the Department of Motor Traffic.
