Compensation for Given For Families of Deceased Migrant Workers Increased

COLOMBO (News 1st) - Compensation provided to the families of Sri Lankan migrant workers who pass away while overseas has been increased to Rs. 1.4 million. The Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment said the revised compensation will apply to migrant workers who were deceased after June 26 last year.
