The Meteorology Department has forecast cloudy skies with showers or thundershowers at times in the Western, Central, Sabaragamuwa, Southern and Uva provinces, as well as in the Batticaloa and Ampara districts, due to a low-level atmospheric disturbance in the vicinity of Sri Lanka.
